Some new lo's and another Christmas Freebie

Hello out there! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. Ours was slow, but that's OK. I got some laundry done and hung out with my boys and was able to do a little scrapping. I can't believe how close Christmas and the new year are! I am seriously behind on my Christmas shopping. I also can't believe that I'm 26 weeks pregnant today! Less than 100 days to my due date!!! I'm excited and completely freaking out at the same time.

Here are the new lo's I worked on this past week. These 1st 2 lo's I used Be Merry by RS Designs. The Font I used on both is Anmari (old standby again!) This lo is of our Christmas tree. Our 1st tree ever! We decided it was time to start more holiday traditions. Like the gate around the tree? Seemed like the easiest way to deal with curious fingers and glass ornaments. Benjamin stands at the gate and watches the lights. He's so cute!

This is a photo of Benjamin's Christmas photo shoot last year.

This next lo is photos from the day we brought Benjamin home from the hospital. I can't believe that was over 18 months ago!! I used A Little Crush by Steel City Scraps. The template is from Template Set 3 by Christie Lemmon Designs. The font is Anmari (yep, again!)

This lo is another photo from Benjamin's Christmas pics last year. I used The Overstuffed Stocking by The Digi Twins. The word art is by Fairy Tale Studio Scraps.

The next 2 lo's I used Give Thanks by CandleWorks Scraps. The 1st lo I used a template freebie from Bannerwoman Designs. The font is Myriad Pro.

This 2nd lo I used a template by Michelle Filo of Pencil Lines.

Now on to the freebie!! I was once again lucky enough to test some of Bannerwoman Designs newest products. Her newest products include two glitter style packs and a chipboard style pack. They are available at her stores at Digitals, Commercial-Use.com, and Digiscrap Warehouse.

I also used an oldie, but goodie from Mega-Doodle Inspired called Mega-Journaling Action which is available for both Photoshop and Photoshop Elements.

Here's my freebie. Its another assorted pack of Christmas Embellishments plus 3 papers. I split it up into two downloads:
Download 1
Download 2

New lo's and another Christmas Freebie!

Hello December! I am having a hard time comprehending that it is December already. Christmas is almost here. My baby just turned 18 months old. I am 6 months pregnant with a little over 3 months to go!! Where is time going?!?!

Anyway, here are a couple new lo's that have been keeping me busy. This first lo is of my ever growing belly. I am so much bigger this time than with Benjamin. I feel like my skin cannot possibly stretch anymore and yet I still have 15 weeks to go! I used Steel City Scraps Soft Whisper on this lo. The template is by Trish Jones and the font is How Cute Am I by Darcy Baldwin.

This lo is of Benjamin from about this time last year. We were in Illinois visiting Shawn's family and it was cold. This little Florida boy was not excited about the layers upon layers of clothes he had to wear and then being stuffed into the car seat! I used a template by Steel City Scraps that is a blog freebie. I used Steel City Scraps portion of the Digital Candy Christmas Mega Grab Bag. I also used Blister Dates and the font How Cute Am I both by Darcy Baldwin.

This photo is of visiting Santa last year. Benjamin was about 6 months old. This photo was taken about 10 seconds before the tears started! I used Christie Lemmon's portion of the Digital Candy Christmas Mega Grab Bag. I also used Journaling Strips by Designs by Angie Kovacs and the font is Kringle.

And just for fun, here's the photo taken about 10 seconds later. I'm hoping for better luck this year!

Here's the December desktop I made using Christie Lemmon's portion of the Digital Candy Christmas Mega Grab Bag. The desktop template is by Danielle Corbitt.

And lastly is a lo I made for the Digital Candy Candy Jar #27 challenge. The kit is Candy Jar #27 by Trish H. Designs. The alpha is Falling Leaves Alpha by The Digi Twins. The font is Minya Nouvelle. I also used Small Scallop and Scallop Dot Actions by Atomic Cupcake.

I was so excited this week because I got to play with the newest products by Bannerwoman Designs. She has come out with 9 new styles. They have been tested in both PS and PSE. I personally used them in PSE 5 and they worked beautifully.

These styles are now available at Digitals, Commercial-Use.com, and DigiScrap Warehouse. I made a freebie using some of Bannerwoman's styles, plus a couple great freebies that Mega-Doodle Inspired has recently offered. I was just messing around and came up with some Christmas Embellishments. You can pick these up here.

And finally, Friday is Fantastic Friday at ScrappinFreestyle. Everything is at least 25% off! The designers have added tons of new stuff recently including lots of holiday products and CU products.

I rocked Digital Candy's DSD Scrapathon!

Photobucket

For DSD, Digital Candy held a scrapathon. 8 lo's in 3 days with different instructions for all of them. Here are my lo's for the scrapathon.

LO #1 is "Black, White, and Sparkly" which meant 2 B&W photos with some sort of glitter or foil element. I used Diamond Diva Alpha, A Little of This, A Little Border, and Back to Basics Paper Pack, all by The Digi Twins and available at Digital Candy.

LO #2 was a scraplift. I scraplifed Steel City Scraps Smile. I used Daddy's Closet by Designs by Jannylynn Brokken.

LO #3 was to use any photo shape other than a square. I used the K-Joi Welcome Kit from by God's design available at K-Joi and The Write Stuff by Darcy Baldwin and Misty Cato. The font is How Cute Am I by Darcy Baldwin.

LO #4 was to use a one word title and some sort of crumpled/wrinkled element. I used A Mother's Love Sunshine Studio Scraps Collab and Crump'd freebie from Designs by Kristi.

LO #5 was another scraplift. I scraplifted Christie Lemmon Designs Yum. I used Coley by Kari Hentzelt Designs, Ariane by Lauraskathi, and The Write Stuff by Darcy Baldwin and Misty Cato. The font is How Cute Am I by Darcy Baldwin.

LO #6 was a lo based on a song. I choose Ordinary Miracle by Sarah McLachlin. I used Ye Olde Bookshop by Mari Koeglenberg. The font is DSP Pat.

LO #7 was to scrap an imperfect picture that you wouldn't normally scrap. This photo was one of Benjamin trying to get the camera while I was taking pictures. I have a lot of these, LOL! I used Monster Madness by Designs by Nikki Scott.

And finally, LO #8 was a template by Christie Lemmon Designs. I used Twitchery Stitchery Page Kit and Alpha by The Digi Twins, both available at Digital Candy, and the font is How Cute Am I by Darcy Baldwin.

These next 2 lo's were not part of the scrapathon. I used Little Prince by Body Works Studio available at Scrap It Sassy.

Phew! That's it for now!!! Thanks for stopping by!

Bunch of new lo's

I'm so happy I got my scrapping mojo back. I guess it comes and goes in cycles. It probably depends how tired I am too I guess.

This first lo is my 1st attempt at a calendar. I am on The Digi Twins CT and they came out with these cool 2009 calendars. I've been trying to figure out what to do with them, so here is my 1st ever calendar. I used Shabby Calendars, Diamond Diva Alpha, Glitter Frames, and A Little of This all by The Digi Twins. I also used a freebie called Ol Time Family Celebration by Jenny Cereal.

This is some old pics of me and my friend Christine before we were old married ladies. We had tons of fun together. She lives in North Florida with her hubby now and I miss her terribly! I did this lo for the template challenge at Digital Candy. The template is by Brenda Smith. The kit is Kaleidoscope by Ivorys Designz.

I also used Kaleidoscope by Ivorys Designz for this next lo of my baby belly at 17 weeks.

These next 2 lo's were done for the recipe challenge at Digital Candy. The recipe is from the the South Beach Diet cookbook. Its a very yummy recipe. Shawn and I attempted the South Beach Diet and it lasted a couple weeks. We are definitely going to need a weight loss strategy after I have this baby! I used Recipe for Fun, Shabby Diva Alpha version 4, Random Paper Pack and Shabby Grunged Paper Pack all by The Digi Twins.

This lo is for the Candy Jar challenge at Digital Candy. It was done with Candy Jar #25 by Trish H Designs and Tiny Tags Action by Tracy King.

And finally, a lo of my new little boy showing us his stuff! Neither one of my boys was very shy showing what they have during ultrasounds! I used Everyone's a Star by Beckmoore Designs.

Thanks for stopping by!!

Got a couple more lo's done!

This 1st one is from my wedding. I used Transforming Love from by God's design.

I also used a bunch of products from The Digi Twins: Shabby Diva Alpha V1, Brightly Grunged Paper Pack, Back to Basics Solids Paper Pack (which is currently part of Grab Bag #6), and A Little of This.

A cute lo of my cute son! I used Everyone's a Star by Beckmoore Designs.

Thanks for stopping by!

Yay for the home team!

I'm not really a sports fan, but since the Tampa Bay Rays are doing so well I guess I should acknowledge them. Especially since they were the worst team in the league for the last couple of years. Plus I have become a "baseball widow" as Shawn has gone to the last 2 home games Friday and Saturday night. I'm not complaining though. I'm glad he can enjoy the fun and it has given me time to do a little scrapping! :)

Here are some lo's I've completed in my long lonely nights (just kidding!):
These first 2 I used One Summer Day by Designs by Mel. The first 1 is Benjamin and his friend Ryan. This was the 2nd time they've gotten to hang out while their Daddies complete the MS 150 bike ride in north Florida. The font I used is Tall Paul.

This 2nd lo using the same kit is of my 16 week belly. I'm starting to get big and people are starting to comment on my pregnancy without me telling them that I'm pregnant! Yay! That didn't start happening until I was well over 20 weeks with Benjamin. The font I used is Brush Script Std.

This next one is of Benjamin when he was just an itty bitty. I used Worn Vintage Overlays, April Showers, and Sweet Lullabye all by The Digi Twins.

These next 2 lo's were done for challenges at Digital Candy. This 1st one is the Digi-Dare Challenge for the 1st part of October. I used Worn Overlays II, A Little of This, Brightly Grunged Papers (in stores soon), Random Papers (in stores soon), and A Little Border (in stores soon) all by The Digi Twins. The font is Chaucer.

This last lo is for the October What's in a Number Challenge at Digital Candy. This challenge was TOUGH, but was great for getting those creative juices flowing! I used A Little of This, Fun in the Sun, Declaration of Independence, Alpha #1 (in stores soon), and Random Papers (in stores soon) all by the Digi Twins, Stacked and Tinted Action which was a blog freebie by Danielle Corbitt, A Cool Summer and Rainbow Glitter Fills by Trish H. Designs, and Bouquet Blog Freebie from Chaos Lounge. The fonts are Cuckoo and Fat.

And in more news from home Benjamin is finally clapping. It only took 16.5 months! This seems like such a small milestone, but I'm been trying to teach him how to clap forever. Yay for Benjamin! Also, in about 24 hours I will be getting my "big" ultrasound and hopefully finding out what we having!! SO excited!!

Thanks for stopping by!

This is a recipe card lo I did for The Digi Twins challenge at Digital Candy. The category for August was salads. For September it is soup. Here is my sald recipe card.

Another challenge I did last month was the template challenge at The Digi Chick. I definitely think I will be doing more challenges because they are such great motivation to scrap. Here is my lo for that template challenge.

And one more. A lo of my crayon eating son!
